CAD File
To make our Layout and Footing Plans, we redraft the essentials in AutoCAD. This 2D CAD file is well organized - we colour code and separate lines into layers such as walls, curb walls, footings, point loads, dimensions, etc.
If you happen to use a Total Station, the .dwg file can be imported for layout or storing control points.
General Scope
Original drawings are read and scanned through by a highly experienced Concrete Contractor, proficient in layout and concrete formwork, whereupon discrepancies, concerns, or suggested questions to ask the builder will be brought to the attention of the client to assist both of us. (Included in Layout Plan and Footing Plan)
Neatly organized layers, all of which are colour-coded to stand out from one another on the Total Station tablet.
Each layer (Walls, Curbs, Footings, Wall Dimensions, Footing Dimensions, Point Loads, Columns, etc.) can be hidden in the tablet software to further simplify the view depending on your present task.
